The Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest is a bilingual school that offers Dutch and International programmes, both fully accredited by the Dutch Ministry of Education. The International School Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest – ISRLO for short – offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme for ages 11 to 16 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for ages 16 to 18, in an innovative educational model with four academic terms per year and 75-minute lessons.
We have offered international education since 1983 and have stuck to the original model of having a relatively small international school – currently around 350 students – which is embedded in a larger Dutch school. For our students the school is much more than just an educational institute. It is an important part of their lives.
Recent surveys show that the school’s atmosphere is rated very highly among the members of our school community. The school is part of the Rijnlands Lyceum foundation, which offers both Dutch and international education to more than 5000 students.
